Meter or Yard Cuts:
'Yardage prices for meter cuts'. Our fabric is only cut in quarter meter increments. While I know patterns often use yardage in their fabric requirements listing, we legally cannot advertise our products using yardage measurements due to the Weights and Measurements Act.
If you need help converting your measurements, please let us know!
What is a Pre Order:
Pre order fabric is fabric that we have on order with the distributor, not fabric that we have in stock. Since most fabrics are only printed once, our pre order section allows you to see what Maisy’s Quilts has on order with the distributors and gives you the ability to order it before it arrives to guarantee you get what you want.
Pre Order Timeline:
We are given an estimated month on when the fabric will be available. We do not know the exact date of that month or if it is towards the beginning or end of the month. In all our listings, you will see the timeline of expected arrival covering 2 months because shipping printing and shipping delays can happen. Should there be a delay outside of the timeframe we have provided, you will be notified and can decide if that timeline still works for you.
Order Fulfillment:
In stock fabrics purchased at the same time as the pre-order will be held until the pre-order comes in. If you would like in-stock items to be shipped immediately, instead of being held, please place a separate order.
If you are purchasing more than one order for pre order fabric with different estimated delivery dates, all items will be held until the final item arrives. It is recommended to place separate orders for in stock items and each pre order item. If we receive multiple pre order items in your order at once, we will contact you to refund the extra shipping costs.
Adding Items to Pre Order:
You can add items to your pre order. Simply checkout just as before, but under Order Instructions at Checkout, provide us with your other order number. We will combine the orders, refund any extra shipping costs. If the combined orders now qualify for free shipping, we will refund the original shipping costs as well.
Note: all yardage will be cut in one continuous length even if multiple pre orders are submitted.
Colour Variations:
We try our best to accurately reflect the colours of the fabrics however, each computer screen, tablet or phone has a varying Red/Blue/Green scale that affects how you see the item (similar to how fabric under fluorescent lights will look different than that in natural light). We cannot offer refunds for colour variations between the webpage and fabric.
If you have any questions about the colour or pairing of items prior to ordering, please reach out! We would love to take photos in varying lights or with bundles of fabric together to help you make an informed purchase you are comfortable with.
Shipping:
We use Canada Post, UPS and Purolator for shipping and charge a flat rate of $15. We only provide tracked shipping. While I know there are cost savings by offering smaller pieces of fabric and shipping at letter mail prices, too many packages have been lost to offer this option.
If your shipping address is different for Canada Post than the other carriers, please provide us with both addresses (ie. Canada Post is a PO Box but UPS and Purolator is a street address).
Orders over $200 receive free shipping.
Order Cancellation:
Orders can be cancelled prior to order fulfillment. Please contact us if you wish to cancel. We What is a Pre Order: still pay the credit card/transaction fees even if an order is cancelled. Canceled orders will be subject to a 10% restocking fee. Orders cannot be canceled once it is fulfilled.
Returns:
Due to the nature of the products, we do not accept returns. This includes earrings.
Manufacture Defects or Errors:
We take every effort to ensure each piece of fabric is represented accurately on our webpage. If there are inherent defects with the fabric (outside of the normal variances in fabric printing and dyeing). If you find a flaw in your fabric larger than an inch square, please let us know so we can find the best way to help your project continue. Returns will not be accepted without prior approval.
If we have made a mistake with your order (human error does happen), please contact us so we can make it right for you!
Damaged or Missing Items in Shipment:
While we take great care in packaging all orders, once a shipment has been handed over to the carrier, it becomes the responsibility of the shipping provider. In the event of damage caused during transit, a claim must be filed with the carrier, which may take time to process.
We will gladly assist you through the claims process and advocate on your behalf; however, refunds or replacements cannot be issued until the carrier has completed and closed the claim.
Personal Privacy:
Personal information collected at time of check out may include Name, Address, Email and/or Phone number. Any personal information that is collected on our site is only used for order fulfillment, contacting you in case we cannot complete the order or for general marketing for our company only. We will never sell or give your personal information to a 3rd party.
